Welcome to DrySpace.org
Thank you for expressing an interest in writing about recovery topics and issues in an effort to carry the message. This site is a mock-up, or demo, to give you an idea of what the DrySpace.org sites look like and some information below about how it all works.
What can you write about at DrySpace? Recovery. Other than that, you have few limitations. Your site (blog) is yours to do with as you like. You can make it a personal recovery journal, an in-depth discussion of recovery topics, a study of the steps, a news and issues site, a poetry site, or a combination of all of the above. It's up to you. It's your personal blog!
To make DrySpace more user friendly for readers, the site is organized into main topic sections, such as Alcoholism & Addiction, Friends and Family, and Adult Children of alcoholics and other dysfunctional families. Although your individual site is autonomous, it is also interlinked and networked with all the other sites in your section.
This page is a demo of what the main Alcoholism & Addictions topic section looks like.

How DrySpace Works
The DrySpace system is set up to make publishing your recovery pages as simple as possible. We even have a simple button! To create a new article, you log on to DrySpace, type the headline in one field, type (or copy-paste) the text of your article in another field and then click on Save! That's it. It's that simple.
But we also have an "Expert" button that will allow you do much more with your articles, such as adding bold or italic text and other HTML coding and links. You can also create multiple-page articles and much more, if you are familiar with HTML.
Don't worry if you make a mistake. You can immediately click on the Edit button and make corrections. We are not perfect. :)
When you hit Save! a new page is automatically created on your web site which has it's own permanent link, or permalink. Your article is also published on the front page or index of your site and it is also published on the main index page of the DrySpace section in which your site resides, such as Alcoholism & Addiction, Friends and Family, etc.
For example, this article was posted on "My Recovery Site" but it also appears on the front page of "Alcoholism & Addiction."
